Cusohome offers a voluntary 30-day return policy for eligible products. This voluntary return policy operates in addition to, and does not replace, any mandatory rights available to consumers under French law.
1. Applicable French Consumer Law
Consumer purchases are subject to the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation).
For distance contracts, the statutory right of withdrawal is provided under Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict a mandatory statutory consumer right.
2. 30-Day Voluntary Returns
In addition to applicable statutory rights, Cusohome accepts eligible change-of-mind returns within 30 days of receiving the order.
The item should generally be returned in its original condition, unworn and unused, with all original tags and packaging where applicable.
3. Right of Withdrawal
Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, consumers may exercise this right within the period prescribed by the French Consumer Code.
The statutory withdrawal period and applicable exceptions are governed by Articles L221-18 to L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
4. Faulty, Defective or Non-Conforming Products
If a product is defective, does not conform to the contract, or otherwise falls under a statutory legal guarantee, please contact us promptly.
French consumers may benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (garantie légale de conformité) and the guarantee against hidden defects (garantie des vices cachés) under applicable provisions of the French Consumer Code and French Civil Code.
5. Return Request
Before sending a return, please contact us at hello@cusohome.comp with your order number and details of your request.
We will provide the applicable return instructions.
Please do not send a return to an address that has not been confirmed by our customer service team.
6. Return Shipping
For voluntary change-of-mind returns, the customer may be responsible for applicable return shipping costs unless otherwise stated by Cusohome.
Where applicable law requires the seller to bear return or other reasonable costs, the applicable provisions of the French Consumer Code will apply.
7. Refunds
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method.
Where a refund is required under the statutory right of withdrawal or another mandatory consumer protection provision, it will be handled in accordance with the applicable provisions of the French Consumer Code.
